Behind the Commissions. Jahongir Bobukulov and Timur Zolotoev

Jahongir Bobokulov’s project translates spiritual experience into the language of abstract painting and sculpture. Using his signature technique of airbrush painting on polyurethane foam, he creates the sensation of a vacuum – an atmosphere where everything is quiet, still, and suspended. The project features a heart-like ceramic object by ceramist Sanjar Kubaev, slowly purified by falling drops of water. The conversation delves into art, spirituality, and healing.
