Abru Bahor (ebru) workshop from Davlat Toshev and his students

In this workshop, artist Davlat Toshev and his students will introduce participants to ebru, the traditional marbling technique long associated with Bukhara. Working on the surface of water, pigments are carefully added and shaped into fluid patterns before being transferred onto paper. For Toshev, this is a calming practice — a way of focusing the mind on the moment, letting unexpected forms emerge like the unfolding of a life path.
